Silicon Photodiode Area Array Detector
The PD array module primarily consists of three
components: a GOS scintillator, a PD array chip,
and an ASIC. The scintillator first absorbs X-rays and
converts them into visible light. The PD array chip
then converts the visible light into electrical signals,
which are transmitted to the ASIC for amplification
and integration. Finally, the back-end computer
reconstructs tomographic images.
To achieve higher sensitivity and conversion efficiency,
the sensitive area of the CT detector must closely
match the emission spectrum of the scintillator.
Through optimized device structure design, Nuchip
has achieved excellent response performance in the
PD array module.
